Double-sided, single-sided and half-etching (stepped engraving)

The double-sided etching is a common method of eroding the material with chemical etching solution from both sides. In the single-sided etching, the etching solution also erode the material, but from one side only. The half-etching (stepped engraving) is a process that involves control of the etching balance of each side. Fine adjustment of the balance allows us to engrave up to five steps.
